Bolton reject Chelsea bid

Bolton have reportedly rejected a mega-money offer for French striker Nicolas Anelka from Chelsea. Chelsea reportedly made an offer of £15 million for the hitman that was rejected.

  • A number of other top clubs, including Manchester United, had been linked with January moves for Anelka, but Chelsea have now made the first approach.



    Chelsea have been linked with a move for Anelka for some time now, almost three months, but it appears tonight as though they have finally made a bid for the Frenchman.



    The 28-year old has always spoke of his dream to play for one of the big four again and Chelsea have always held a keen interest in the player, with boss Avram Grant admitting that he really liked Anelka as a player.
