The young playmaker struggled to make his way into the first-team at the Etihad in spite of impressing during pre-season.

Widespread reports now confirm that the 19-year-old has agreed to join the Principality outfit following a successful loan spell with Lille in the previous campaign.

Lopes notched three goals in 27 outings for Lille on loan last season.
