Turkish side Besiktas have opted against a summer deal for Manchester United outcast Victor Valdes.

The Spain international has been tipped to leave Old Trafford this summer, following a heated conversation with manager Louis van Gaal.

Besiktas were speculated to be having talks over a possible move for the former Barca star, but The Express claims that the Turkish outfit have cooled down their interest as they seek to strengthen other areas of their squad first.

Valdes made just two league appearances for United following his January arrival.
