France international Karim Benzema has insisted that he had no desire to make a move away from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old had been heavily tipped to join Arsenal this summer, with multiple reports citing that the Gunners had agreed to pay a club-record fee for his services.
However, it was not meant to be with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger clarifying that his side had no interest in Karim Benzema.
Benzema has now followed up by stating that he had no intention of leaving Los Blancos in the summer.
"There was nothing in the talk of a transfer away from Madrid. I'm happy at my current club, it's the best in the world. I'll continue to work here and be happy where I am," He told Telefoot.
