Peru international Claudio Pizarro has joined German side Werder Bremen for the third time in his career.
The veteran striker was a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Bayern Munich earlier this summer.
Pizarro initially plyed his trade for Bremen from 1999 to 2001 before linking with them for a second stint between 2008 and 2013.
"I am pleased to be here again. It is a very challenging task. I hope I can use my experience as much as possible for the team." he told the club's official website.
The 36-year-old is understood to have signed a one-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.
