The Brazilian midfielder had been tipped to join the Red Devils during the summer transfer window until he opted to feature for his side in the Champions League play-offs.

Tuttomercatoweb now claims that the former Premier League champions are looking into a deal for Anderson. in spite of him being ineligible to play in Europe's major competition.

Anderson has earned a solitary cap with the Brazilian national side.
