Matthew Edile has been linked with a window transfer move to Arsenal. Edile was part of the Nigerian squad that participated in the Under-17 World Cup and impressed alongside Macaulay Christantus. Man City also are monitoring the youngster.
On the 23rd of October it was reported that Edile and fellow Nigeria U-17 team mate Macauley Chrisantus were to join Man City but a deal failed to materialise.
Arsenal are now leading the pack to snap up the youngster for a fee believed to be around £1 million.
Edile has been courted by several La Liga sides but is believed to be more interested in a move to the Premiership where his hero Kanu plays.
