The Dutchman has revealed that he may call quits on his managerial career once his deal expires in 2017.

It had been previously cited that assistant coach Ryan Giggs could take over at the helm of things at Old Trafford.

However, The Mirror claims that the Mancunian giants have lined up Guardiola as the ideal replacement for the head coach role.

Guardiola is expected to get the sack at Bayern Munich, should he fail to guide the club to Champions League success this term.
