Portuguese international Tiago has iterated his desire to commit his future to Atletico Madrid.
The 34-year-old has been a key member at the Basque outfit since his move from Juventus in 2011.
It has been earlier reported that the player could seek fresh pastures elsewhere once his contract expires next summer.
However, Tiago has given the green light towards an extension at Vicente Calderon.
"I'd like to finish my career at Atletico Madrid," he told reporters.
Tiago's side host Benfica in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
