Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has revealed his desire to play in the Champions League.
The France international joined the Magpies from Toulouse in 2013, and has since then been a regular fixture in the first-team.
The 26-year-old has now expressed his desire to play in Europe's elite competition in the near future. He added that his employers worked hard to keep him at Tyneside over the summer.
"I hope to play in the Champions League one day. Newcastle did everything to keep me [this summer]." he told French TV station Canal+
Sissoko had attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal in the recently concluded transfer window.
