Manchester City have reportedly placed an asking price of &pound30m for young defender Jason Denayer.

The 20-year-old, who has already been capped by Belgian, joined Turkish side Galatasaray on loan for the current season.

It had been earlier claimed that both clubs had agreed on a &pound7.3m deal for the player to complete a permanent switch to Gala at the end of the season.

However, Manchester Evening News claims that City have had a change in mind, and are now not willing to offload their young star for anything less than &pound30m.

Denayer has been tipped to replace veteran defender Martin Demichelis at the Etihad next season.
