New Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to have made his mind up to sign a suitable replacement for Simon Mignolet.
The Belgian international is currently the club's number one with summer signing Adam Bogdan acting as his back-up.
However, Calciomercato claims that Klopp is unimpressed with the options on hand, and may well make a move for a new goalkeeper in the January transfer window.
The report adds that the 48-year-old has identified Bayer Leverkusen's Bernd Leno and Mainz's Lorius Karius as potential candidates to earn the shot-stopper's job at Liverpool.
Mignolet has made over 100 appearances for the Reds following his move from Sunderland in 2013.
