The 21-year-old has grown increasingly frustrated due to the lack of regular game play at Parc des Princes.

According to Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo, the young centre-back will seek fresh pastures in the New Year as he no longer wants to play second fiddle to compatriots Thiago Silva and David Luiz.

It is added that European giants Chelsea and Barcelona will be eyeing January bids for Marquinhos following his desire to bid adieu from the French champions.

Marquinhos has made over 50 league appearances for his club so far.
