Manchester United would have to come up with a mega-offer in the region of £36m to have any chance of landing Southampton star Sadio Mane.
The Senegalese international has been one of the bright spots for the Saints over the past year, and this had attracted interest from the Red Devils over the summer.
According to The Telegraph, United would have to match a sum similar to that paid for Anthony Martial in order to tempt the Saints into offloading their star asset in the New Year.
Mane has scored four goals in all competitions for his club this term.
