Watford manager Quique Flores has refused to comment on the club's interest in free-agent Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Togo international is currently on the search for a new club following his release from Tottenham Hotspur in September.
Recent reports had cited that the 31-year-old could join the Hornets during the winter transfer window.
However, Flores was coy when asked on a possible move for the former Arsenal and Manchester City star.
"I don't like to talk about players who don't belong to the Watford team, but we would welcome every good player," he told reporters
Adebayor is not allowed to link up with a new club until January as he was released after the summer transfer deadline.
