Valencia's Portuguese right-back Miguel could be set to make a move to Aston Villa as Martin O'Neill continues his search for defensive reinforcements. Miguel could be available for as little as £4 million.
Koeman initially rebuffed interest from Premiership and Italian sides during the first weeks of his reign; however a recent incident at a nightclub involving Miguel has softened the Dutch tactician’s stance.
Miguel only recently signed a new deal with Valencia in September 2007 but a well publicised falling out with boss Ronald Koeman has seen the right-back fall out of favour and several Italian clubs are also thinking about an offer.
