West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has casted doubts over his future by declining a new contract.
The 22-year-old had been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur over the summer, but the Baggies blocked his switch.
Berahino later took to the social media to vent his fury on chairman Jeremy Peace, but he has since then been inducted back to the starting setup.
The Mail now understands the West Midlands outfit were keen on tying up the striker on a new long-term deal worth £50,000-a-week.
However, the Burundian-born striker is thought to have resisted the offer as he is considering his options ahead of the winter transfer window.
Berahino's current deal at Hawthorns expires at the end of next season.
