Real Madrid to trigger David de Gea release clause?

13 November 2015 - 13:19

Real Madrid will reportedly come back for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea following their transfer shambles over the summer.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The Spanish giants were close to signing the 25-year-old in August, but late submission of relevant paperwork meant that the move could not go through before the transfer deadline.

De Gea has since then committed his future to the Red Devils on a new four-year deal, and this week has insisted that he is really content at the Mancunian giants.

However, The Sun claims that Los Blancos have not given up on the talented shot-stopper, and they plan to trigger his £30m release clause.

Real have made a bright start to their campaign nevertheless, with Keylor Navas putting up a good show as the club's number one.
