Argentine winger Erik Lamela is most likely to remain at Tottenham Hotspur beyond the winter transfer window.
The 23-year-old was Spurs' most expensive buy when he joined them from AS Roma in 2013.
However, he has struggled to maintain his form on a regular basis, and this has led to suggestions that he may seek fresh pastures elsewhere in January.
French daily newspaper Le Phoceen now understands that the talented forward will stay put at White Hart Lane for the season with Spurs aiming for Champions League qualification.
Lamela has made seven league starts for Spurs this season.
