Newcastle United are reportedly considering Steve McClaren's future following a dismal start to the league campaign.
The Magpies appointed McClaren over the summer following a disappointing 2014/15 campaign which saw them finish 15th in the Premier League.
However, the former England boss has struggled to turn things around, and this has pushed the club in the drop zone nearly half way through the season.
According to The Mirror, Harry Redknapp is one among the favourites to usurp the 54-year-old from the Magpies hotseat.
It is added that former Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is also on the reckoning for the head coach role.
