Man Utd suffer major injury blow

Rojo out with dislocated shoulder

Man Utd suffer major injury blow

03 December 2015 - 17:12

Manchester United will be without the services of defender Marcus Rojo for a lengthy period after he dislocated his shoulder in training.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The Argentina international is understood to have sustained the problem during a training session yesterday morning.

It is now known that the incident happened on the same shoulder which he had dislocated against Manchester City last season.

However, on that instance, Rojo did not require any surgery but still missed four weeks of first-team action.

According to The Mirror, the extent of the injury is to be assessed later this week, and the 25-year-old could be out for several months, should he require an operation to reset his affected shoulder.

United are now likely to depend on Daley Blind to fill in at left-back during the festive period.
