Borussia Dortmund are interested in a January deal for former Newcastle United playmaker Hatem Ben Arfa.
The 28-year-old was released from the Magpies in January after he was deemed surplus to requirements.
Ben Arfa has since then moved back to Ligue 1 with Nice, where he has put up a number of stellar displays this season.
According to The Newcastle Chronicle, the French winger has caught the eye of many a clubs in Europe after he earned a national call-up through his impressive showing.
The report adds that BVB look to be leading the chase for the Magpies flop, and may well lodge an offer for his services in early 2016.
Ben Arfa has notched seven goals for Nice this term.
