Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has revealed that club will be without the services of Matteo Darmian and Chris Smalling for Saturday's league trip to Bournemouth.
The Red Devils find themselves in a major defensive crisis having lost a number of players through injury in recent weeks.
Van Gaal has now confirmed that the club have suffered a further dent with two more of his backline set to spend time on the sidelines.
Darmian pulled his hamstring in the first half of United's 3-2 Champions League defeat at Wolfsburg whilst Smalling hobbled through with a groin problem in the same game.
United currently have Antonio Valencia, Luke Shaw, and Marcos Rojo injured on a long-term basis.
