The 20-year-old joined PSV from Uruguayan side Nacional on a five-year contract in the summer. He has since then amassed eight goals in 23 outings for his side, and this has caught the eye of City scouts.

According to Manchester Evening News, City boss Manuel Pellegrini has been impressed by the positive response from the club's scouts, and is now eyeing a potential deal for the versatile attacker.

The Uruguay under-20 international is said to have the potential to play at either midfield or on the wing.
