Manchester United should take a chance on Queens Park Rangers hotshot Charlie Austin, former winger Gordon Hill says.
The Red Devils have drawn blank on several occasions this season, and this has caused an uproar from the club's faithful.
Austin has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, and Hill believes that United should go for the player's services if they are to seek a change in their fortunes.
"Cannot understand why Charlie Austin is still playing in the Championship, same mold Vardy (sic). Take a chance United," the 61-year-old wrote on twitter.
However, United face an uphill battle to lure Austin in the New Year after he revealed of his desire to stay put at Loftus Road for the season.
Austin has scored 10 goals in the Championship this season.
