Italy international Giuseppe Rossi is '99 percent' certain of leaving Fiorentina in the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old has struggled to cement a regular starting role under Paulo Sousa this season in spite of recovering from long-term knee injury.
Rossi's agent Federico Pastorello has confirmed that his client will definitely seek a fresh challenge away from La Viola next month.
"The club has realised it cannot keep hold of the lad because he wants to play," he told reporters. "He will 99 percent leave Fiorentina in January."
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be interested in signing up the former Manchester United man.
