Erik Pieters pens new Stoke City deal

Stoke City have announced that defender Erik Pieters has inked a contract extension to keep him at the club until 2020.

The 27-year-old full-back has shown his long-term commitment to the Potters by extending his previous deal by a further three years.

"I can look forward to a bright future here now. I love being here, I have enjoyed it from the moment I first arrived here and I think we will only continue to grow stronger together." he told the club's official website.

The Netherlands international has made 92 appearances for the Potters since his move from PSV Eindhoven in 2013.
