Liverpool are set to lodge a winter bid for Leeds United youngster Sam Byram.
The 22-year-old has been frustrated with the lack of progress at Leeds in recent years, and he is most likely to seek a fresh challenge in the New Year.
According to The Sun, Leeds owner Massimo Cellino is ready to cash in on the player next month with his existing deal due to expire at the end of the season.
It is added that the Yorkshire side will accept Liverpool's bid of around £5m for their star asset.
Byram has the capability to play at either midfield or right-back.
