Manchester United are reportedly pursuing a deal for highly-rated Wolfsburg defender Ricardo Rodriguez.
The Swiss international has been in top form for the Wolves in recent seasons, and this has caught the eye of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
According to German sports daily Bild, the Red Devils are expected to step up their pursuit for the talented left-back amid interest from Los Blancos.
Adding to this, the Mancunian giants would be willing to make a bid of around £30m to land the player's services this month.
United are currently without an experienced left-back following long-term injuries to Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw.
