Barcelona are known to have wrapped up a winter deal for Arsenal target and Celta Vigo attacker Nolito.
The Spain international has been heavily linked with a move away from Celta with a whole host of European clubs vying for his signature.
Recent speculation had claimed that the Gunners could trigger the player's £13.4m release clause in the quest to land his services during the January transfer window.
However, TV3 claims that European champions Barcelona have agreed to sign the 29-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season. The report adds that the Catalan giants have the option of making the deal permanent by matching the player's release clause in the summer.
Nolito has earned five caps with Spain.
