Liverpool plot Hernandez swoop

18 January 2016 - 09:55

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on landing the services of Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Mexican international linked up with the Bundesliga side over the summer after he was deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester United.

Don Balon claims that Klopp is unhappy with the resources in hand, and is eager to bring in a new marksman during the winter transfer window.

The German head coach is also said to be a huge admirer of Hernandez's talents, and will do all within his reach to bring him back to England this month.

Hernandez has scored 19 goals for Leverkusen this season.
