Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly lodged a winter bid for Atletico Madrid striker Jackson Martinez.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be keen on signing a new centre-forward during the ongoing transfer window.
Spanish source Marca says that Spurs had come up with a £30m bid for Martinez, who is said to be unsettled at the Basque outfit,
However, Atleti have rebuffed the offer as it is below the player's release clause of £26m.
Diego Simeone's side would be helpless to keep hold of their prized asset, should the North London side decide to trigger the Colombian's escape clause.
