Emmanuel Eboue eyeing Arsenal return

Ivory Coast international Emmanuel Eboue has expressed interest in joining Arsenal during the ongoing transfer window.

The 32-year-old made over 200 appearances for the Gunners before joining Galatasaray in 2011.

He has since then had a lean patch with the Turkish giants, and is now a free agent following the expiry of his contract last year.

Eboue has now revealed that he is considering his options, and would welcome the prospect of rejoining the Gunners this month.

"We are currently looking at options," he told reporters. "But I’d love to go back to Arsenal."

Nevertheless, Arsenal are unlikely to consider the option given the vast array of talent in midfield.
