Chelsea defender Papy Djilobodji has linked up with Werder Bremen on loan for the rest of the season.
The Senegalese international joined the Blues from Nantes during the final hours of the summer transfer window.
Djilobodji has since then struggled to attain any playing time in the first-team, and this led to claims that he may seek a fresh challenge in the New Year.
Werder Bremen have now disclosed via their official website that they have signed the 26-year-old on a temporary basis for the remainder of the campaign.
The Blues are known to have paid a fee of around £3m for the central defender.
