Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has reportedly blocked a winter move for Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato.
The Brazil international has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs following his impressive loan stint with Sao Paolo.
Recent speculation had claimed that the Blues had reached a verbal agreement to sign the 26-year-old marksman this month.
However, in a new twist to the story, Hiddink has stalled the proposed transfer as he has doubts over Pato\'s ability.
It is also known that Pato has not played a competitive fixture since November, and this is likely to have a say on his match fitness.
Pato is currently valued at £10m.
