Spanish source Fichajes claims that Diego Simeone's side will look to wrap up the signature of Benfica star Gaitan this month. It is added that Atleti would have to cough up a sum of around &pound33m to lure Benfica into the player's sale.

Premier League giants Manchester United have been previously linked with the Argentina international.
