Arsenal are reportedly hopeful of sealing a deal for Leicester City full-back Ben Chilwell this month.
The 19-year-old had been the subject of a £3.7m bid from the Gunners over the summer, but the Foxes were not keen on his sale.
Chilwell has since then impressed in a two-month loan spell at Huddlesfield, which has caught the eye of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
According to The Mail, the FA Cup holders will strive to complete a deal for the versatile defender by the end of the transfer window.
It is added that the club would have to pay a fee of around £5m to land the player's services.
Chilwell has the ability to play at either left-back or right-back.
