Italian giants Roma are planning a summer deal for Bayern Munich defender Mehdi Benatia.
The Morocco international joined the Bavarian giants from Roma in 2014, and has since then played a bit-part role in the first-team.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi are eager to re-sign their former player in order to add more solidity to their squad for the next season.
It is added that Benatia would be open to the move, considering his previous success at the Stadio Olimpico.
Benatia has made just six league appearances for Bayern this term.
