Max Allegri rejects Chelsea link

10 February 2016 - 16:50

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has rebuffed speculation linking him with the managerial role at Chelsea.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Blues are expected to move in for a new head coach in the summer.

Recent speculation had suggested that Allegri had agreed to takeover the reigns at Stamford Bridge once Guus Hiddink sees through his interim role for the season.

However, the 48-year-old Italian has dismissed the claims by citing that there is nothing true to the story.

"There's nothing to it. I cannot either confirm or deny something that doesn't exist," he told Sky Sports News.

"I want this matter over and done with now. What's important for me right now is to get to the end of the season with Juventus and try and win some silverware."

Allegri guided the Old Lady to a league and cup double during his debut season last term.
