Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is interested in pursuing a summer deal for Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante.

The Paris-born midfielder has been top form for the Foxes since his move from Ligue 1 minnows Caen last summer.

According to The Mirror, Gunners boss Wenger has been impressed with the player's showing in the Premier League this season.

The report adds that the 66-year-old has told the club's scouts to keep a close eye on the 24-year-old between now and the end of the campaign.

Kante is the first top-flight player to make a century of interceptions this term.
