Spanish giants Barcelona are set to lodge a summer offer for Leicester City hotshot Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian international has been in prime form for the Foxes, who are currently leading the Premier League standings.

The Mirror claims that the Foxes would find it hard to keep hold of Mahrez, with the Catalan giants seemingly keen on landing the player's services

It is added that European champions could face stiff competition from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City for the pacey attacker.

The 25-year-old has notched 15 goals and 10 assists for the league toppers this season.
