Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly heading the queue to sign Gent forward Laurent Depoitre.

  • The 27-year-old has been in fine form for the Belgian giants over the past year, and this is said to have caught the eye of several Premier League clubs.

According to The Mirror, Mauricio Pochettino's side will seek to add more firepower in the striking department with the club having had to rely on Harry Kane for the centre-forward role.

The report adds that Spurs will pay a fee in the region of £12m to land the one-time Belgian international this summer.

Depoitre has netted 13 goals in all competitions for Gent this term.
