Takeover complete at Swindon

Andrew Fitton Swindon Town's new chairman has revealed his new board of directors following the successful takeover.

  • Maurice Malpas has been installed as the new Swindon boss.



    Fitton outlined the new set up:



    "The board will be made up of myself, Jeremy Wray, Russell Backhouse and Nick Watkins who has taken on the role of chief executive," he said.



    "We like to operate our businesses with a small board at the start, but that may change as time goes on."



    Malpas outlined his intentiones at the club by saying:



    "I believe the play-offs are feasible. Difficult but feasible. The players are looking to achieve that dream too," said the ex-Motherwell boss.
