Lazio tipped to sign Podolski

Lazio will reportedly replace Miroslav Klose with fellow German international Lukas Podolski this summer. The 30-year-old left Arsenal to join the Istanbul outfit on a Bosman last year.

World Cup winner Klose has been tipped to leave the Serie A club at the end of the season, and according to Corriere della Sera, Podolski is regarded as the ideal replacement for the veteran striker.

The report adds that Gala will be willing to offload their star asset in a bid to ease off some of their financial burdens.

Podolski has earned over 100 caps with his national team.
