Real Madrid pairing Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos are believed to have handed in transfer requests following the club's 1-0 loss to Atletico Madrid over the weekend. Manchester United are understood to be keeping tabs on the situation.

Respected journalist Pipi Estrada has revealed that Portugal star had an outburst with club president Florentino Perez after Los Blancos' failure to beat their arch-rivals.

It is added that fellow teammate Ramos is also saddened by the result, and the duo will look to seek fresh pastures elsewhere in the summer.

Los Blancos are currently third in La Liga, 12 points adrift of toppers Barcelona.
