Manchester United and Manchester City could battle it out for the services of West Ham United defender Angelo Ogbonna this summer.
The 27-year-old has been in good form for the Hammers, who are just a point adrift of the Champions League qualification places.
A report from The Times suggests that Manchester duo of United and City have had a close watch on the Italy international who has been a strong presence in the Hammers backline this term.
It is added that the Premier League pairing are in need of at least one centre-back and could go on a transfer tussle to land Ogbonna's signature in the summer.
Ogbonna joined Slaven Bilic's side from Juventus for £8.5m last year.
