West Ham United could start their summer spending spree with a move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere. The England international has had his fair share of injury troubles in recent seasons, and this has hampered his playing time at the Emirates.
Brentwood Gazette suggests that the Hammers could look into a deal for Arsenal graduate Wilshere, who is expected to be fit in time for this summer's European championships in France.
It is added that the 24-year-old may consider his future at the Gunners as he is unlikely to jump straight back to the first-team following his recovery from long-term knee injury.
Wilshere has been tipped to play some part in April provided his rehabilitation process goes through as planned.
The talented midfielder has earned 28 caps with the Three Lions till date.
