German international Mesut Ozil could seek a fresh challenge away from Arsenal, should the club fail to sack manager Arsene Wenger in the summer.
The 27-year-old is understood to be considering his future at the Emirates with the club struggling to compete for the Premier League title this season.
According to Spanish source Don Balon, the World Cup winner has vented his frustration towards the club's hierarchy following their reluctance to relieve Wenger from his duties.
Ozil is also said to be have informed his agent and brother Mutlu to look into a potential switch back to La Liga next season.
The Gunners are currently third in the league standings, 11 points behind leaders Leicester City.
