Sergio Romero denies Man Utd exit

22 March 2016 - 12:16

Argentinian goalkeeper Sergio Romero will not be headed for the exit door in the summer, despite playing second fiddle to David De Gea at Manchester United this season. Romero has been linked with a return to his home country.

  • Chelsea make first move to sign Bournemouth star
  • Atletico Madrid planning shock move for Chelsea star

  • River Plate and Independiente are amongst the teams all in the race to sign the goalkeeper, but the 29-year-old insists he is happy at Old Trafford and planning a longer stay at the club.

Romero joined only last season but has yet to oust David De Gea from the United first team. Spaniard De Gea only recently signed a new contract at Man Utd; despite interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
