Premier League giants Manchester City have yet to make contact with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. The German international has a year left on his existing deal at Westfalenstadion.
It had been recently speculated that the talented midfielder had agreed on a deal in principle to join City after his representatives met up with club director Txiki Begiristain.
However, the player's agent has rebuffed the claims by citing that the 25-year-old is focused on his recovery process, and has yet to decide on his future.
"It is not true [that a deal is done]. There is no decision and everything is still open. Ilkay is focusing further on his recovery." he told German sports daily Bild.
Gundogan has previously been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Juventus.
